The plan as a tech tree
Your plan is now the tech tree from the design: building the game and marketing it side by side, from the first prototype to after launch, across the whole page. The CLI no longer needs .NET, you can file bugs and ideas in the app, and signing in and out no longer flashes a white page.
New
The plan as a tech tree.
58 steps in tiers from the first prototype to after launch, with a column per track: building the game first, the Steam page, festivals, creators, communities and story beside it. A track splits where two steps can run in parallel, and the milestones (Steam page live, demo public, Next Fest, launch) are gates across every column. The tree takes the whole page and scrolls with it; the column names stay on top and you can drag it sideways. Click a step and a panel opens at the bottom: the step itself, with its advice and what to do, or Before and after, a focused view of what it needs and the two steps that follow.
Your plan, on its own page.
Plan › Your plan lists every part you can switch off (a dev log, the clip test, communities, creators, festivals…) with the steps each one takes off the map. Switch one off and the tree, the count, Home and the menu follow; the map shows how many are off.
File bugs and ideas in the app.
Next to the reports your game sends with F9, Intake now has New bug and New feature request: a title, what happened and an optional screenshot. They land in Intake like the game's, marked as filed in the app.
The CLI without .NET.
The tinderbox CLI is now one program per platform (Windows, macOS, Linux; Intel and ARM) with nothing else to install. Connect shows one command for macOS and Linux and one for Windows; the script checks the download against its checksum, and running it again updates it.
Fixed
No white page when you sign in or out.
Opening the app signed out, and signing out, showed a blank page with a small 'Signing you in…' for a few seconds. The loading screen now stays up until Keycloak's sign-in page or the signed-out message shows.
Signing out of Grafana and Keycloak.
Signing out of Grafana or of Keycloak's admin console ended on 'Invalid redirect uri'. Both now sign out cleanly, and Grafana signs out within a minute when you sign out anywhere else.
