A welcome that sets you up

Open Tinderbox Works for the first time and a wizard explains what it's for and how it runs next to your build, with recordings and diagrams. Then it sets you up one step at a time, and each step ticks itself when Tinderbox sees it happen.

New

A welcome, before anything to set up.

A new studio first sees why Tinderbox Works exists: to get your game into players' hands, a couple of steps a day next to building it. Then how the loop runs (a report from your game, an AI Agent task, a demo, your approval, a dev log) as a diagram and four recordings, and the route from the first prototype to after launch.

Setup steps that tick themselves.

Ten steps take you from adding your game to your first dev log: install the CLI, sign it in, add reporting to your game, the game profile, choose your steps, then once round the loop. Each one ticks itself the moment Tinderbox sees it happen, like the CLI signing in or the first report from your build. The two it can't see you tick yourself.

Getting started, on Home.

Until the setup is done, Home shows how far you are and what's next, with a Continue button. Hide it if you like; Settings brings the wizard back.

Where the workflow comes from.

A new page on the site covers how the plan came together: what we read, what newer sources changed, how far to trust each one, and what we left out on purpose. Read it.

Previous and next.

Every devlog post now ends with links to the release before and after it.
